I am writing to express deep concern about the recent actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). ICE and CBP are murdering our neighbors on the streets, detaining people without due process, raiding homes without warrants, and terrorizing entire communities.

ICE and CBP are acting as if they are above the law — and they are doing it with the $240 billion in mass deportation funding Congress approved through S.2 and last year’s reconciliation law.

I urge you to: 
- Repeal and claw back the $240 billion in mass deportation funding immediately, including both S.2 and last year’s reconciliation law. 
- Redirect those resources to meet the real needs of people across the country, including lowering the cost of health care, expanding access to food and nutrition support, and investing in affordable housing.

ICE and CBP must not be allowed to continue this government‑sanctioned violence. I’m calling on you to act now to take back this funding and protect all people who call the United States home.
